How to Enable & Pause Monitoring

Enabling Monitoring

1. Log in to your SiteSkite Portal.

2. Go to Websites and select the website you want to monitor.

3. Open the Monitor Tab.

4. Click Enable Monitor.

5. The site is now actively monitored, and its status will be visible in real time.

Pausing Monitoring

Pausing is useful during maintenance or planned downtime:

1. In the Monitor Tab, click Pause Monitor.

2. Monitoring will stop temporarily; the site’s last status remains visible.

3. Re-enable monitoring anytime by clicking Enable Monitor.

💡 Notes:

• Pausing does not delete past monitoring history.

• Always pause before performing site migrations, plugin updates, or maintenance to prevent false downtime alerts.
